The Dubois Branch library was opened in June of 2011 as a way to provide convenient and much needed library services to those living in the northeast corner of Dubois County. We are located between two of the Northeast Dubois schools which allows us to offer many services to our local school students and staff. The beautiful gardens and planters are maintained by our Friends of the Dubois library allowing our patrons to have an enjoyable outdoor experience while visiting. Our main room has a one-of-a-kind wallpaper border that depicts historical photos of the towns of Dubois, Celestine, Haysville and many of the smaller rural populations that make up this area. We are known for our wide variety of programs including educational programs, adult crafts, art experiences, music concerts, and children’s programs.
