Reserve a Room

Our libraries offer meeting room space for your events and meetings. These spaces must be booked in advance and users must follow the guidelines outlined in the meeting room policies.

Use of library meeting spaces does not imply endorsement by the Library of any group or information presented. All publicity must list the sponsoring individual or organization’s contact information only, and may not use the Library’s name, logo, phone number, or imply Library sponsorship beyond noting the event location.

Reserve Your Room Online

  1. Go to the link below & create an account.
  2. Choose date & timeframe.
  3. Choose & book your room.
  4. You will receive an initial email for submitting the request. You’ will receive a 2nd email when the reservation is approved. A reservation is not valid until it is approved by staff.
    (Final fee may not be reflected in confirmation email. (Hickory & Cherry meeting rooms have a higher rate when used for more than 4 hours)) 

    1. Pay Online (Fees required from For-Profit Groups, Businesses, & Private Usage) No fees for Non-Profits or Govt. Entities. (Up to 12 uses per calendar year)
    2. Make Payment on User Dashboard (under account)
      * If you have the Atrium booked through the Jasper Arts & are also wanting to use the library community rooms for your event, you MUST book these through the Jasper Arts.

Audio/Video Room

Enjoy a private space to work on projects that involve using audio or video. Whether you’re recording a podcast, creating, or just unwinding, our Audio/Video Room is free to use. Equipment includes a computer, 4k Camcorder, headphones, microphone, tripod, & more. List of Equipment/Software

Audio/Video Room Guidelines

Steps For Using Audio/Video Room
1. Take the MakerSpace Introduction & Safety Training
2. Make an appointment with MakerSpace Staff to go over the room.
3. Request the room for individual use. A librarian will contact you to confirm request.
*Users must be at least 16 years old to use the room.

Thyen-Clark Cultural Center/Jasper Community Arts

The arts wing of the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center provides a unique, flexible setting for events and activities including wedding receptions, banquets, art classes, meetings, conferences, lectures, small concerts, movie showings, and much more. Rentable spaces include a large atrium with kitchen and bar access, a black box theater, workshop rooms, private studios, and art galleries. Booking one or more spaces may be done by calling the Event Coordinator at 812-482-3070 or by emailing [email protected].
