Exciting Update For Libby/Overdrive

BIG NEWS!! The Jasper-Dubois County Public Library has joined forces with over 190 other public libraries across Indiana to bring even greater e-book access through Libby! The Indiana Digital Library will launch on March 1. By sharing resources with other libraries, patrons will now be able to borrow from a significantly larger collection of both e-books, e-audios, and magazines in Libby. We are talking thousands and thousands of items!
Nothing will change for JDCPL patrons on how you currently access Libby through the app or in your browser. Items you have checked out and holds will remain without any interruption. Unfortunately, reading histories cannot be transferred to the consortium. If you would like to download a list of your reading history to import to Goodreads or to keep for yourself, you will need to follow these steps BEFORE March 1. If you need assistance, please feel free to reach out! Directions can be found in the app as well.

We know this is an inconvenience and several readers and listeners will be disappointed about losing the history, but hopefully the access to all these new items will make up for it. We thank the Indiana State Library in their efforts to organize this endeavor and pay the platform fees so that our funds can be spent solely on content for our readers!
