Reading Programs

Beanstack

Beanstack is an online program that allows patrons to interactively participate in our Summer Learning and Winter Reading programs. Readers of all ages can register in seconds as individuals, a family, or classroom. Beanstack makes it easy for them to earn virtual badges, tickets for drawings, and other incentives by keeping track of their reading and completing activities. Readers can also post book reviews and keep track of the books they read along the way.

Summer Learning Program

The Jasper-Dubois County Public Library’s Summer Learning Program is designed to inspire and encourage patrons of all ages to read, explore, create, and discover throughout the summer. We offer a variety of programs that appeal to all ages.

Winter Reading Program

Each winter the library hosts a reading program in January that is designed to encourage patrons to read and explore new authors, genres, or the variety of print and media available to read at the library. We make this a fun event with reading and activity challenges. Participants who complete the challenge are entered into a prize drawing! The winter program is for all ages.
