This is a group of knitters/crocheters/weavers/in general crafters, that will be meeting monthly to share in projects, patterns and friendly conversation while we each work on individual projects. At times we may choose to work on some projects for charity such as the “Need a hat-Take a Hat” basket that the library hosts each winter. We can make projects for nursing homes, women’s shelters, hospitals, or any other needs brought to our attention and your hearts.
Come and learn from one another even if you have never knitted or crocheted before! Or perhaps you haven’t in years. We will have materials such as yarn, knitting needles and knitting looms available for those who may not have their own. The library has a check out system for these in our “Library of Things.”
We will try meeting during the 1st Wednesday morning of the month from 11-12:30. Room choice will be dependent upon the numbers that register and the projects that are being worked on. Some of the group intends to meet again at the same time on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.
