JDCPL (Jasper -Dubois County Public Library) invites published Authors to participate in their First Annual Local Author Showcase. Meet other local Authors, connect with members of the community, and promote your published works. Local Authors of fiction and nonfiction for any age are invited to participate, including self-published authors. Authors need to apply for each location that you are interested in – can apply to attend one, two or all three. The 2025 Local Author Showcase intends to highlight the intellectual and creative accomplishments of writers.
To apply for a table at the 2025 Local Author Showcase, submit an application form to each location you are interested in at least one month before the scheduled date. Applications are available upon request by contacting one of the names below (Amy Bastien, Joan Knies or Venita Lucchi)
Authors selected to participate will be notified by phone and/or email. Based upon the number of applications received, the library reserves the right to limit participation by selecting a representative sample of types of work. Those not selected are welcome to apply again in the future.
