DC Free Press The DC Free Press has been providing fast, reliable news and features for Dubois County since 2011. Incorporating social media as well as unique tools to provide information and resources to its users on mobile and computer platforms, the Freep continues to develop itself as a true asset to the community.
Ferdinand News The Ferdinand News was founded in 1906 by a group of progressive businessmen living in Ferdinand, Indiana, who believed that to thrive, a community needed a voice. The newspaper has won scads of state and some national awards, primarily for solid writing in all areas, including features, sports, government, business and local coverage. The paper focuses heavily on its primary coverage area for Dubois County and the Southeast School District.
The Herald A daily, community newspaper (Monday-Saturday) that is one of only 300 independently-owned newspapers in the United States, the Herald covers events, including politics and government, in all communities, providing access to the news pages to clubs and organizations, publishing public records, sponsoring community events and donating money to worthy causes.
News Now The Dubois County's premier information and entertainment new media channel for the smart phone, tablet, and PC environments, providing on-line 24-hour news, sports and more via streaming videos.
WBDC WBDC was the first radio station in Southwestern Indiana to not only program country music, but to program country music 24 hours a day. The WBDC tradition continues today with the widest variety of country music both from today and yesterday all while keeping you informed with the most current news, weather, sports, and information.
WITZ & WQKZ WITZ (104.7 FM and 990 AM) is a radio station broadcasting an adult contemporary music format, and WQKZ (98.5 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a country music format. These sister stations serve the areas of Jasper, Indiana and Tell City, Indiana.
WJTS WJTS-LP is a low-power television station in Jasper, Indiana, broadcasting on local analog UHF channel 27 and digital UHF channel 18. Founded in 1991, it is owned by DC Broadcasting. WJTS is an independent community station, which airs daily news, sports and weather.
